About the event

Fluid Interdisciplinarities is a three-day symposium bringing together water researchers, artists, and practitioners to explore diverse perspectives on water-related challenges. The event is organized by the Integrative Research Institute on Transformations of Human-Environment Systems (IRI THESys) and artist Regina Hügli (One Body of Water), in cooperation with the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education,  the University of Montpellier, the Knowledge Exchange with Society team and the TA T – Tieranatomisches Theater at the Centre for Cultural Techniques (ZfK).

Through interdisciplinary dialogues and participatory activities—including film screenings, exhibitions, and discussions—the symposium fosters knowledge exchange between science, art, and society. Highlights include the House of Rivers event, showcasing interactive discussions and artistic projects on water.
