This symposium brings together artists, scientists and water professionals and asks the questions who and how to speak for rivers? It will compare different approaches of representing rivers, both in the political sense of “giving voice to the interests and rights of”, and in the analytical sense of “understanding, describing, explaining”. It will explore these intwerwoven approaches through the transdisciplinary collaborations, contaminations, but also frictions and misunderstandings between different ways of representing water.

Event is taking place at the RADIUS Center for Contemporary Art and Ecology 

It is organised within the week-long festival on Fluid Interdisciplinarities happening at the Water Governance Department at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.
